​About UKC

Registering with UKC - To enter a United Kennel Club trial, you must first register with UKC. A dog does not have to be a purebred to register and enter. There are three options, a Permanent Registration, a Single Registration, and a Performance Listing. All are acceptable to compete in a UKC Nosework Trial. Here is a description of each:
Performance Listing: For mixed breeds, or breeds not recognized by UKC, or dog where pedigree can not be established. 
Single Registration: For purebred dogs who are currently registered with other recognized registries such as AKC or ASCA. 
Permanent Registration: The final registration for dogs who are from a litter that has been registered with UKC. 
Registration can be submitted by email or regular mail. After UKC receives the registration, it takes 7-10 days to receive a registration number.
